Patterned solar glass is a kind of translucent glass substrate with its matt surface and prismatic surface diffuse reflection, which can effectively decrease light reflection, and remain very high light transmittance at any angle of incidence.


Low-iron patterned solar collector glass has a lower percentage of iron oxide than standard float glass, mainly used on solar panels because of its super light and solar energy transmittance rate. Therefore, solar patterned glass is also called photovoltaic glass and energy saving glass. When toughened, its strength and durability make it the ideal choice for crystalline silicon photovoltaic application as well as for solar thermal collectors.
